About Me

I’m fascinated by the human body, how our behaviours and environment affect us, and all the natural, accessible ways that we can tackle disease ourselves, if only we know where and how to get started. I want to be that bridge to help people get started because I believe optimal health is possible for everyone.

Our bodies are designed to stay in balance and I am dedicated to helping my clients achieve this goal. We work together to identify the root causes of health imbalances so we can take effective and meaningful action to overcome these, which alleviates long-term symptoms. I place a strong

emphasis on stress management and aim to educate my clients so they can make informed, committed decisions to expand their own wellbeing through lifestyle changes, underpinned by positive behaviours in sleep, diet and exercise.  In my personal experience, I have found this is the foundation of great health and I strive to attain this in the wellbeing of my clients.

Through Grit Wellness, I help people access and understand the vast array of health knowledge available. I actively identify effective methods to help my clients achieve long-term wellbeing, and then create personalised health plans that maximise their use. I develop a close bond with my clients, that builds trust between us, so that they can confidently make changes in their world.

My training is founded on the principals of functional medicine and an holistic wellness approach, working with the mind, the whole body and the intricate interactions of all its systems. Unlike conventional medicine provided by a doctor, no system is addressed in isolation, there is no diagnosis and there is no prescription to mask symptoms.

Grit Wellness has grown from my desire to help others find a way to manage and resolve their ongoing symptoms, when every other attempt seems to have failed. It takes a lot of commitment and grit to find the root cause of health complaints, particularly when we've been unwell for a long time and our symptoms have become our version of "normal".

If you are ready to create a more healthful version of you, to lead a full and active life using this approach to your health, then please contact me to find out how you can feel your best and create a new definition of "normal," one based on vitality, strength and confidence.

In good health,

Stacy Marx, FDN-P
